CAUSES
Max's All Stars is committed to using our platform to speak out on issues of social and racial injustice. We will share historical facts, make donations, sign petitions and spread the word. Whatever we can do to help make this world a better place, no matter how big or small, let's do it together. If anyone has suggestions for organizations to support, please contact us.
Back in June 2020, we created the "Raise #5 to the rafters for George Floyd" movement. The purpose of this movement was to:

-
Raise awareness about racial injustice.
-
Honor the memory of George Floyd and all victims of racial injustice.
-
Raise money for community racial justice organizations and bail funds
across the country.
We held a CustomInk t-shirt fundraiser and made a $600 donation to https://secure.actblue.com/donate/bail_funds_george_floyd.

Max's All Stars is proud to support Nashoba Learning Group and MGH Lurie Center for Autism. We have traveled to Boston and competed in the Full Court Charity Challenge seven times (2013, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024) - winning the Corporate Division Championship four times (2018, 2019, 2022, 2023) and the Open Division Championship in 2024. Unfortunately, the tournament was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 health crisis. However, Max's All Stars took part in fundraising efforts through the Score For Autism Trick Shot Challenge that took place in 2020. We put together a fun trick shot video and raised $1,100 for the cause. Also, special thanks to ARTEMIS, Inc. for their sponsorship and continued support of this cause as well.
In July 2020, Kaheem Davis organized a wonderful event on his birthday to support local high school seniors - providing them with shirts, sneakers and mentorship. Due to the ongoing pandemic, graduation ceremonies were canceled - but Kaheem came through for this group of seniors. Max's All Stars is proud to contribute and take part in this event. On October 24th, 2020 - Kaheem was presented with the first-ever Max's All Stars Community Service Award in recognition of his efforts. Click here to read all about it.

Kaheem continued his work for the 2021 graduating class, providing the high school seniors with valuable tools to be successful. Max's All Stars setup a CustomInk t-shirt fundraiser and all proceeds went towards sneakers, clothing, gift cards, snacks/beverages for the incoming college freshmen. We hope to continue growing this event in the years to come!
Max's All Stars roster features three prominent White Plains High School alums - Spencer Smith, Kaheem and William Davis. Spencer works at his alma mater and is an assistant coach on the boy's basketball team. Over the years, our team has donated to White Plains High School fundraisers. Max's All Stars is proud to support WPHS. Go Tigers!
In December 2018, Max's All Stars won the 2nd Annual ZogSports DC Jingle Ballin' Winter Hoops Classic Championship. Our prize was to make a contribution to the charity of our choice. We picked the Red Auerbach Youth Foundation in support of athletic and recreational programs for the Greater Boston youth. The ZogSports motto is "Play For Your Cause" and Max's All Stars looks forward to doing more of that in the future!
